KPN: Ep 24

he looks happy doesn't he? lol, too bad the episode isn't really like that. funny moments, definitely, but pretty sad for our OTP still.

to be honest, there's not really a lot to say about this episode. i liked it, definitely.

1. umm, let's see. there's still Ji Hoo/Jan Di in this one. =S not as much as before, but the sweetness between them hasn't really been toned down. that really unnerves me since it's already the second-last episode. even though i know Joon Pyo and Jan Di will end up together, i still feel like its unnecessary for the drama to be throwing us off. =S i think the end scene with Jan Di and Ji Hoo should be the last of the possibility, but i wish they got that love triangle over with earlier.

2. as for Ji Hoo in general, they're really putting him through hell aren't they? now he's bearing the guilt of his friend's accident? *sighs* i wish they'd just give him a happy ending and leave him alone.

3. evil mom, i guess this episode was supposed to redeem her? hmm, i woudn't go so far as to say that. her grief for her son's accident softened her image. but... they can't convince me she's suddenly changing because of it.

4. i'm happy Jun Hee went at her mom. i just would have been happier if Jan Di was the one that said it. but then again, i'm not really unhappy about how Jan Di and evil mom interacted.

5. Yumi... if pretty much just as annoying as every counterpart of the manga version i've encountered. to be honest, i ended up doing my homework whenever she showed up on screen, so i don't have much range as usual towards. the one thing i dislike about the kdrama version of this arc, is that Joon Pyo actually seems like he's treating her nicely. =@ that's vexating. but... the scene where Joon Pyo talks bad about Jan Di and Ji Hoo goes for him, i like =D

6. Joon Pyo and Jan Di had barely any scenes together again. =S but their few scenes together were good. as sad as the amnesia is for our OTP, the funniest moments between them was when she was trying to jog his memory by re-enacting scnes from their past. and from seeing those scenes, plus seeing the OTP together the past two episodes, i've once again come to realize that they're chemistry's wasted. =(

there wasn't much that i wanted to cap in this episode, but here's my fav scenes:

i really did like this moment between them. of course i would have liked it more if Jan Di gave her a piece of her mind, like the manga did. but this change i actually didn't mind. while Jan Di is probably not purposely reminding her of what a lousy mom she's been, she's still making that point; telling her what Joon Pyo likes and all. it's like an indirect bashing of her parenting.

Ji Hoo Grandpa moment. i like that he can lean on his gramps now. i really really hope they keep him alive.

the first scene of them together since the break up. =( so sad.

probably my favourite scene from the episode. everything about this scene was so hilarious. first to Joon Pyo's drying patience, to Jan Di's plan and execution of it, the F3's attentiveness to the whole thing, and then Joon Pyo and Jan Di's reaction to the result of it. everything, funny.

i wish that Ji Hoo lunged for Yumi since they stopped him from hitting Joon Pyo.

well, that's this episode. one more to go tomorrow. as crazy as this drama's been, i really am going to be sad when it ends tomorrow.

boys before flowers, kdrama
