This episode was terrifying. But also kind of wonderful. But mostly terrifying. And it inspired a lot of unexpected anti-shipper feelings and fantasies in me where Elena just tells eerrrrebody to go screw themselves and steals Damon’s Camaro to go on a cross-country ribbon stealing spree. Stefan is not a good boyfriend for anyone. Except for maybe Katherine. I think, deep down, they're perfect for each other. In that way, yes, Caroline can get together with Stefan so she can eventually down the line break up with him and finally become disenchanted. Then she can get together with Klaus and take a trip to Paris or something, because Tyler stopped being interesting eons ago and I am tired of his "I'm here! Now I'm not! Live without me, Caroline! No, wait! I'm back! Love me while pretending not to, for the sake of the group!" Ugh.
I'm pretty sure the Hayley/Klaus happened only so Klaus can finally have sex. Otherwise I'm not entirely sure why Hayley is still around. Can't we kill her now?
I am eternally amused with people who can boil everything down to Stefan/Elena or Damon/Elena. I feel sorry for Elena, since it's so obvious to me that she is not an individual character to some people. She's a stand in. So I like this path for her, since I think it will be hard for some people to follow her and continually try to force her back into their narrow Elena Is Me perspective. But then, maybe not. This is a post-Twilight generation and all.

She's around because the network loves her and is going to have her on the spin-off show. I liked her in The Secret Circle (the little of it that I saw), but here she just seems to take up screentime.
The further I get away from the episode, the more I find Klaus having sex weird.

Also, why is vampire super speed always a thing during sex scenes? This also makes me feel weird.
