You were a great car. I didn't mind too much that I often had to push you (sometimes in reverse! once in 4" heels!) to pop start the engine, like the VW bus in Little Miss Sunshine. I didn't overly mind your lack of heat. I didn't even mind that your transmission was slowly committing suicide, first losing third gear, then fifth gear, then occasionally just popping out of whatever gear you were in. In the end, it was the additional loss of first, second and reverse simultaneously that sadly ended our love affair. You even had the courtesy to die the day before you were to be brought in for a new starter and reinspection.
If I could only have driven you stuck in fourth gear forever, I'd gladly have done it.
