Soul Food!

One of my favorite things about living in the CD is the easy access to good southern down home cookin'-type food. I got to really like it when I was in college (in Arkansas) and during trips to visit David's family in SC (not sold on sweet tea yet, though, so not a true Southerner).
Of course, there's Ezell's just around the corner, but that's pretty fast-food-y.
An hour and a half ago, I declared to David that I wanted fish 'n' chips (minus the chips) for dinner, so we brainstormed where nearby I could get that. We landed on Catfish Corner, which we've of course been past many times and even lightly joked about before. I had the filet bits and pups and David had the rice and beans and collard greens and we shared fried okra and cornbread muffins (most delicious I've had in ages). It was scrumptious!!
