And what happens when the slime rots away the plants? I don't want to take that chance.

I don't mind them having fun, as long as it's not happening in my glasshouses during class time.

If I did that every time I was concerned about the plants, half the students and a few of the staff would be banned from the greenhouses.

I don't know how you chose to run your classes while you were a professor, but I'm sure that even your headmaster would have noticed and objected if you suddenly forbade half the school to enter your classroom.

I simply meant that I did not agree with your approach to life; as though responsibilities were able to be shrugged off whenever one feels the need.
I take my position as Herbology teacher very seriously and my commitment to it takes precedence over other areas of my life.
