Humans of New York by Brandon, started as one drifter's aspiration to connect, evolving into one of the most popular Tumblr pages (and now Facebook); in short, it's become the aspiration of many.

This book is a celebration of the diversity in humanity along with a peppering of wisdom and dream chasing. Here's just a few of the images, that I hope will add some cheer -- or at least provide a distraction -- from your daily life. Because that's how the book struck me. As an artistic person who craves images of real people...this satisfies. Says what it does, does what it says. A primarily visual book, there are also nuggets of wisdom and insight that are zen worthy to ponder or simply an echo from your own life. You may not know these people, but you'll recognize them within yourselves. Grade: A
