I saw Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie advertised somewhere a few months ago and was very curious, so I'm glad you posted a review! I actually have been looking for something light, as I'm an English major and getting kind of bogged down with all the criticism I'm reading. So thanks for posting!

I know what you mean though - I too am an English major (albeit on hiatus) and sometimes you just need a bit of fluff reading to allow your brain cells to recover :)
To be honest they were both random finds - I just happened to spot them while looking for other books (if you only knew how often that happened you'd understand why I am broke haha).
