Inside Front Flap:

When the bride and groom are both named Reilly, you can bet the honeymoon will consist of castles, emerald green hills and the lilt of Irish laughter. Newlyweds Regan and Jack Reilly are no exception. But asided from relaxing on their honeymoon in the Ireland, they're also making time to research their Irish roots. When their search leads them to a small down outside Dublin, they find that certain facts abou their family histories are not as cut and dried as they seem. And as they dig deeper, they discover their forefathers. But whose family is related to the shady Reillys -- Regan's or Jack's or both?

Filled with fascinating Irish history and lore, as well as Carol Higgins Clark's usual "eccentric characters [who] would be at home in a Dickens novel", Laced is a light-hearted caper sure to charm fans old and new.

My Review:

I greatly enjoyed readin Laced y Carol Higgins Clark. At first, I was bored with it, and then a wee bit scared (as I was reading it just before bed on a rather windy night), but I found as time went on and the pages kept turning, that I really got into the story and even enjoyed the characters. My favorite character was Margaret Raftery, the superstitious painter who works at Hennessey Castle and is the first to discover that May Reilly's expensive, unpaid-for lace tablecloth has been stolen.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
