Inside Front Flap:
We now present the seventh and final installment in the epic tale of Harry Potter.
My Review:
I feel exactly like the inside front flap of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Nothing would do this seventh book justice. Nothing can totally recap the events of the very epic tale of Harry Potter. I cherish every page of this series and to sum it all up in a paragraph is impossible. The series made me laugh, cry, scream, feel regret, and understand the plight of the orphaned boy-wizard who had most of a nation leaning on him.
This series, and the book that attempted to wrap up the tale, held me captive as a child, as an adolescent, and continues to now that I’m an adult. In second grade, when I began reading J.K. Rowling’s debut work, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone gave me hope and led me on an adventure. As the tales grew longer and I grew older, they began to mean more to me. They were not only about dragon fighting, friendly half-giants, and magic, they taught me about the bond of friendship, the strength love, the power of forgiveness and kindness, the influence of hope, the struggle between good and evil, and above all, what it meant, and still means, to be human. Some might scoff and say, “But how can you get all that out of a series of fairy tales for children?” My response: “Read them and find out.”
