Bout of Books Update
Hi Everyone!
Today has been a manic Thursday. I'm so tired and I haven't done a fragment of reading all day. I've been working on certification and job applications all day. Tomorrow will most likely be much the same as today, although, I will be teaching and going on a short field trip in the morning with my students to see the film "Bully." It should be pretty interesting. It'll be my first trip as a chaperone and I'm in charge of nearly 50 ninth and twelfth graders. At least I know some of the kids. Anyway, I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling and I'm just about ready to pick up Penelope Fitzgerald's The Blue Flower. It should be a quick read at only 225 pages, so I'm hoping to finish reading it by tomorrow night so that I can start The Life of Pi by Yann Martel. I'm starting to get really excited about reading it, but I left the copy I borrowed from the south building's library at school today. I'm about a third of the way through Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, so I'm hoping to finish that before the end of the Bout of Books read-a-thon as well!
