Book 64: I Love the Earl
I Love the Earl by Caroline Linden is the FIRST romance novel that I have ever read, knowing before I picked it up that it was a romance. Of course, I have read a romance before, such as Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife, but I had no clue it was a romance until I opened it up and in the second chapter, they're going at in a carriage. Anyway, I Love the Earl was very, very good. I had always thought romance novels were sex, sex, sex all the time (much like Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife), but it wasn't. The thrill came from the courtship...and the kiss in the garden. I don't want to give too much away, but it was an amazing read that I couldn't put down. It only took me a day to read it.
