So, today was a pretty good day. My only class was canceled because the prof. is sick. Of course, instead of being industrious and getting stuff for other classes done, I pretty much did nothing, but it was nice.
After I got back from work,
Freckles42 and I decided to make a Walmart/food run. Of course, since I decided that it was time to replace the blade on my electric razor, we spent a good half an hour searching for a How-May-I-Help you to open the locked case. Why do they insist on locking up a $16 replacement head for a razor. It's not like it's really dangerous, you would have to work hard to injure someone with this thing, especially when it's not attached to a razor. What really killed me was that there were a bunch of electric razors and replacement blades sitting out on top of the case. Unfortunately the one I needed wasn't up there.
Then, after Walmart we took the scenic route to Sonic--extremely scenic. We got really lost and ended up making a giant circle which put us back at Converse, one street up from where we started. Needless to say, by the time we actually got food, both of us were really hungry, but it was a fun trip.
I also just found out that one of my sisters, the non-deliquent one, is going to be running for Miss Tennessee Preteen this summer. It's kind of cute. . . Unfortunately I'll probably be in Rome at the time.
Oh, and this is really annoying. My brother Cory's birthday is tomorrow; he'll be 18. I got an IM from him earlier saying, and I quote, "Guess what mom and dad got me. . .a Sport bike (motorcycle).". . .So, I'm a little upset. If my parents really got him a motorcycle for his birthday. . . when I have been wanting one for awhile and I've never heard him actually express a real interest. . .and when he already has a car that he can't afford to pay for. . .and I am 5 hours from home with no form of transportation. . .I think I might scream. But, I'm going to try to not be jealous. . .I'm probably going to fail, but I'll try. I don't even remember what I got for my 18th birthday. . .well, there's my tattoo, but my parents didn't actually have to pay for that. Oh, well, such is life. . .at least, my life.
But over all my life has been pretty good lately. . .I've got my health, a loving boyfriend [ Hi, Darrell ; ) ], good friends. . .I can't complain. . .well I can but I shouldn't.
