We've been talking about what we were going to do with my student loan refund. We paid a few credit cards off, and then we were trying to decide what else we needed/wanted.
We ended up applying to adopt a greyhound. Mostly because we're saps. His name is Johnny, and he's gorgeous. He was great with Rose and Jamie in the store, and we were told he's good with other dogs and children, but not cats. We're still looking for a new home for Van, so we'll probably have to work with him and Johnny a bit until they can be safe together. It is so worth it though.
They're going to come sometime next week for a home visit. I'm very excited, and I'll be devastated if for some reason it doesn't work out.
