I wouldn't wish this on anyone
Well, it's been a fun couple of days, let me tell you. I survived Black Friday just fine. It was pretty uneventful, actually. I had dinner at home that night, feeling fine. Later that night, however, I started to feel like crap. Let me back up by saying that my sister and her husband were sick as dogs a few days ago, so much so that we had to take the kids for a couple of nights.
Anyway, I spent the better part of the night in the bathroom. I won't elaborate on the details. Suffice it to say that I couldn't even keep water down. Oh, the fun. I then spent the whole of yesterday on the couch, watching a Star Wars marathon on Spike TV. I ended up having a piece of toast around 7pm yesterday. I was afraid to eat anything else. My appetite seems to have returned today, but I'm still taking it easy. I'm working today at 1pm. I'm up for it, but I know I'm going to be exhausted by the end of the night. Thankfully, I'm off tomorrow.
Thanksgiving was good. As usual, we went over my aunt and uncle's house. We're having our own next Sunday though, mostly so that Mandy and Chris can have one. They didn't go anywhere for Thanksgiving since they were getting over their own bout with Montezuma's Revenge. By then, I hope my appetite is back in full force.
