Hello...
Yes, I am alive. I've been pretty busy lately, as well as pretty lazy about posting on LJ. I'm a slacker, I know.
Work has been kind of crazy the last couple of weeks. Most of it is the same-old, same-old. You know, moronic, needy, and/or messy customers. Displays come down and displays go up as usual. But school is out now, so we've seen an upswing in business, for which I am grateful, don't get me wrong. However, all those parents, with kids in tow, coming in with their reading lists keep up moving. Add to that some major projects and relays that I'm responsible for, well, I've been a little stressed. It started to get to me yesterday, but I talked it through with my awesome ASM and that helped a lot. I was able to take a step back and work it out. I got the bulk of one project done this morning. I should be able to finish tomorrow, barring any disasters. We'll see. I have a deadline of next week, so I'm feeling pretty confident about it now.
Several of my friends have had some good news recently, for which I'm happy and grateful. Two of them have new jobs. Yay for Anne and Amanda!! And Brooke had her baby on Monday! Welcome to Alison Victoria! I hope to go see her tomorrow after work. I have to call Brooke to see when would be a good time. I can't wait to meet her!
