I like to read books about travel because I don't travel very often, for various financial and physical reasons. I like to read books by Peg Bracken because she's funny and interesting (even though I couldn't eat anything in any of her cookbooks and I STILL don't know what salad oil is).

This is a book about traveling first published in 1973. Obviously a lot of it is out of date, but it's still fun to read. If you find this book, it will likely be at a library sale or flea market or yard sale-type thing. And it will be cheap, and you might enjoy it.
