Fifty Shades Darker

I know A million people have already ranted about just how terrible the Fifty Shades series are. I just finished the second book and I really have to rage. I honestly read it for sport kind of. I knew it was going to be awful. I was treating it like that kind of bad B movie thats so awful it's hilarious. Oh god no.

This book was seriously MORE awful than the first one! You'd think that maybe her writing ability would improve with the next in the series, but I guess I was hoping for a little too much there. The little subplot with the Ex-sub getting all stalkerish and then Ana's boss being all squeezy was poorly executed.

Someone buy this woman a thesaurus. I am sure she can find better words to use to describe the sex scenes rather than "He touched me down there" or "He sprang free and I grasped him" It was like that with every single scene.

Ana's inner goddess can Seriously go take a piss somewhere and be forgotten. Either she comes to terms with her multiple personality disorder or she shuts the hell up about her inner goddess jumping for joy or giving her the finger.

Christian is obsessed with her eating. Every other word out of his mouth is "Ana," "eat," "you need your energy"

If I hear Christian declare possession of her one more time I am going to scream. "You are mine" gets old super fast. Ana just sits and takes it. It's disgusting.

And the whole "Do you know how much you mean to me" being said every time they look at each other. Annoying!

Ana, while this may be her first relationship, needs to stop with the constant gushing over this guy. It's vomit worthy.

AND

Every time she got pissed off at him and ripped in to him over what he did he just got those puppy dog eyes and starting crying and begging her not to leave him. Or he just had sex with her and everything was all good.

Don't get me started about her obsession with "Mrs. Robinson"

I really liked this review on goodreads.
