The birds are singing, the flowers blooming and the quiet is interrupted by an author failing.
I don't know if anyone's heard of this here yet, but it concerns and is about some rather reasonable people who I happen to like and respect. Anyway, the short version is a rather... erm... overenthusiastic independent author by name of M.R. Mathias got all in a huff for being called an independent author and as such having the forum moderators at Fantasy Faction move all the topics he put up advertising his books to the appropriate category. After that, I think his head exploded like a concrete truck full of C4 and he posted a bit of a tantrum on the forum. The thread was locked down, but the brouhaha continued via twitter prompting an official response this morning.
My guess is that this may yet continue since he apparently hasn't stopped griping about it via twitter at the mods and almost everyone else.
I know that there are a lot of indie authors who are far more even tempered than this individual, but I'm of the opinion that three year old style tantrums are best left to toddlers.
