I've discovered a new game
Step 1: find an author of young adult fantasy books doing a signing in a local bookstore
Step 2: visit book store and strike up a conversation
Step 3: ask the author if his/her books are similar to Twilight
Step 4: watch the squirming
"Well, there are no vampires in it."
"Um... well... people who've liked Twilight have liked my books."
"Are you a Twilight fan?"
So far, no one has said yes.

Having seen a couple of authors respond amusingly to this question, I thought I'd share the joke, particularly since there are people on this community who share my feelings regarding Twilight. Judging from some of the comments, I should have included the warning to ensure your sense of humour is working properly before reading.
