The Alchemy of Crap...sorry Stone
What it's about:
Mattie, an intelligent automaton skilled in the use of alchemy, finds herself caught in the middle of a conflict between gargoyles, the Mechanics, and the Alchemists. With the old order quickly giving way to the new, Mattie discovers powerful and dangerous secrets - secrets that can completely alter the balance of power in the city of Ayona. This doesn't sit well with Loharri, the Mechanic who created Mattie and still has the key to her heart - literally.
My Thoughts:
If an author had to finish a book in 4 hours and they had not even started it, this would be that book. The whole book seemed like it was done in a serious hurry. There was so much doing on at once, that it didn’t even make any sense after a while. Not to mention the fact that the characters were..bland as hell. It was impossible for me to give two shits about any of them. Don’t get me wrong, the first 10 pages were good and I thought I was going to love it but yes, I am disappointed. Such a damn shame…
