My Sister's Bones

This review is going to fail as badly as the book because I'm tired but ugggh I had to vent somewhere.

The author fails to establish the setting, and not until midway into it do you realize the story takes place in the 70s or early 80s sometime, because the narrator's boyfriend uses an 8-track tape.

Actually I don't really know what to say about it except that it takes place in NJ and I grew up there. People like the narrator and her family are why I couldn't wait to leave. I can't stand reading books about people I'd gladly push onto railroad tracks.

Okay, this is a pissy review.

Maybe I'll do a better one later.
