Spring Roundup
Ok, I know I haven't posted an aweful lot lately, but I post regularly over on my word-press blog if you're feeling neglected (hint hint). Currently wordpress is pissing my off though. Anyway, the news. Classes are over for the year, officially. I still have review classes for Arabic during the first two weeks of next term, and I have one last class for Religions in the Roman Near East. I've also got a combined total of 14k words of papers to write in the next twoish months. Then I get to buckle down and really write my dissertation. Meanwhile, I am trying to keep up with the novel writing as well. I've started another novel, an Egyptian Historical. I'm really enjoying the research and planning, but I haven't written much of it as yet.
So, things continue to plug along steadily, and while I can't exactly relax now, I can at least do things on my own schedule now, without classes interrupting. In other news, Mom and Aunt Sarah are coming over for about 10 days, and we're all going to Scotland for a couple of days. I'm pretty excited. We'll see Sterling Castle, and maybe get a peek at Nessie, and see some really awesome countryside.
Other than that, it's pretty quiet around here. This weekend I'm lazing about, and then on monday I start researching and writing the first of my papers due.
