Coincidentally I've been reading a bunch of stuff lately that is somehow related to the Opium Wars. I was not expecting Courtney Milan's latest series to join the collection, but I am excited by the discovery!

I am also SO EXCITED for the future Opium Wars shenanigans promised in this series! It's making me look forward to the next book even more than her last series, though I too wasn't that impressed by the Christian/Judith romance.

I hadn't gotten around to reading 'Her Every Wish' yet, though learning that the hero is biracial and bisexual has just bumped it way up my reading list!

Me too! Honestly the cliffhanger/ongoing plot stuff is REALLY working for me, I like the feeling of momentum and want to know what is going to happen to everyone.

Not only is Crash multiracial, but he's part of a multiracial community in London including an amazing card shark aunt and it's WONDERFUL.
