Hahaha, while I think the Fullmetal Alchemist ballroom dance fic probably still counts as the most self-indulgent thing I have ever written, this definitely comes a close second.

It was worth writing either way though because it prompted izilen to make some BEAUTIFUL YOKO/RAKUSHUN ARTWORK to illustrate it which you should all go see RIGHT NOW and

Oh, I love all them so much, and this fic reminds me why! It captures all the characters so deftly. Suzu is so wonderful. And, oh Keiki, your extreme social incompetence will always be hilarious!

Suzu - goodness I love her so much and you depicted her character wonderfully. I love Shoukei's ambtions and it's so delightful to think of her going on to become a scholar and a minister for Kei. And lolol, oh, Keiki. <3

Your voices for the characters are so SPOT-ON. Shoukei is absolutely fantastic. Suzu could not be more charmingly perfect. Youko and Rakushun are the textbook definition of ADORABLE. And I don't think I've ever read a better description of Keiki's social ineptitude than he appeared "abruptly constipated."

In short: BEST. EVER. OMG.

Also! I have been creeping around your blog, reading your lovely fic on the sly, while being too awkward to friend you! So, um, in the interest of NOT acting like a creeper any longer, can I friend you? (I promise, I am not actually a creeper, I just act like one around awesome people!)
