Other things I discovered while backing up documents: some not-quite-as-old fic-bits I never posted. Most of which never will be posted, but on consideration I have decided I like this well enough to inflict it on the world.

Oh, that sounds about right!

I would say that I hope they get to take their fishing trip at some point but I wouldn't completely rule out the angry fish attack outcome.

Hee, thanks! I wouldn't rule it out either, but at least Riza will enjoy it, even if Roy ends up spending the whole time doing his best sulky-soaked-cat impression.

I am pretty sure Olivier has a regular policy of paying good money for embarrassing pictures of Roy Mustang. Hilarious and potentially useful!

Roy never understands how this happens, and yet he can't seem to refrain from getting into the kind of situations where embarrassing pictures happen. (Also, to be fair, he is extremely hard to embarrass).

Roy is a firm believer in the idea that nothing is embarrassing if you have enough ~panache~, and nobody has ever had the heart to tell him differently.

Embarrassment is only possible if you choose to be embarrassed. He's the classic, "Don't do anything I wouldn't do. . .but I can't think of anything I wouldn't do."

Although admittedly this may just be only because he has not yet become well-acquainted enough with Ed Elric's idea of what constitutes a nice-looking car.
