Last week, Cha Song Joo carried the polls pretty much by sheer force of badassery:
And this week I will admit just up front is pretty Cha Song Joo dominated. I CAN'T HELP IT IF SHE'S ALWAYS FABULOUS.
1.
I think this is seriously one of my favorite things Cha Song Joo has ever worn. The gorgeous dress, and the gorgeous shawl, and the gorgeous hair . . .
No less gorgeous in full view! I don't know how this hasn't shown up before now; even if I had Cha Song Joo's apparently unlimited wardrobe at my disposal, I'd still be tempted to just wear that shawl all the time.

Of course then she gets tired of this and goes to put on her MOTORCYCLE LEATHERS and SECRET ASSASSINATION OUTFIT. (As we've already seen, there's no reason she couldn't commit assassinations in the beautiful dress, it's just that she doesn't feel like it today I guess?)
I mean, there is no denying that it is PRETTY BADASS.
Looking stylishly lethal and vaguely pensive about the fact that she just got into a gunfight with her love interest at point-blank range! It's distressing, but these things happen in a revolution.

So naturally, needing to ward off suspicion and disguise the bullet wound in her arm, the next day she decides to dress like a 70's schoolteacher
I think my favorite part is the blinged-out heart-shaped buckle on her belt.
"It's no use," she is thinking. "I try, but even a fully buttoned-up schoolteacher dress cannot disguise the fact that if I wanted I could kill you without breaking a sweat."

Appearances aside, this is not the All Cha Song Joo, All the Time show! And this episode is extra exciting because Na Yeo Kyeung actually gets to play, in an adorable suit and hat stolen from the always-adorable Young Ran.
I am a big fan of the colors in this whole sequence. The blues of the outfit and the green of the background - well played, cinematographer and artistic director. Well played. (Also, hey, you can tell it's true love because their hats match!)

Meanwhile, Young Ran is CUNNINGLY DISGUISED as Na Yeo Kyeung.
This outfit would not be super notable on its own, but as a CUNNING DISGUISE it is hilarious.
