This deployment hasn't been the greatest for me mentally or physically, and the election results have not helped, but it has brought into focus some areas that I really need to work on when I get back. These past couple of weeks have been a lot better though between having something to do at work and having an end date in sight. I'm really looking forward to my own bed and quiet space again. So glad I didn't try to save money by packing up all my stuff and putting it in storage. That would not have been fun to come back to.

I have a family reunion this summer and I've decided that if I don't have someone I'm interested in by then, after it I'm going to start the process of having a kid.
