Prompt is cold feet, by August.
So my feet have an interesting temperature regulation problem. Hands too, but we're talking about feet here. My toes will get really, really freaking cold-- and the rest of my feet will be boiling. This is desperately annoying and part of the reason why I love socks so much. They keep my toes warm but they usually breathe enough to keep the rest of my foot from heatstroke.
Occasionally, people will give me things that aren't... quite... socks? but still work in a similar vein. Or they're outright slippers. These things? I love these things. Here are some pictures.
These I actually bought myself at Goodwill, but sunsetinthewes enabled me so I blame her. They're comfy and cute, open in the back and warm in the toesies. Moving on.
These I actually got just this year, from my father and stepmother for Christmas. They're loosely knitted enough so that my feet don't catch fire. Plus they're cute and stylish.
UM. GUYS. ISANAH MADE THESE FOR ME. MADE. WITH HER TWO HANDS.
I love these. That's why they're kind of battered. I wear them ALL THE TIME and they are SO COMFY and SO CUTE. They are perfect and I love them.
And finally...
KILLER RABBIT BUNNY SLIPPERS.
'Nuff said.
