First off, some business: I'm putting a temporary moratorium on book reviews until a) NaNo is done or b) I lose interest in NaNo and wander off, whichever comes first. Yes, that will mean eighty million of them in December. Fine by me if it's fine by you.
I'm still staring at my monthly goals for November. I did decently for October; 5/10, which is about my average, but now I'm stuck on November's goals. Blah. We'll see. Move should probably be on there, yes.
Speaking of, roommates and I are moving from our tiny cramped apartment to (hopefully) a large comfy house that actually has bedrooms for all of us. And then in January we will be joined by the lovely
shipwreck_light to make a fourth. Pray for us all for ease of moving, because the last move I had was a shitshow and so were the five I can remember before that.
Still poking at the job search. There's a few promising openings but no one's called me yet. Of course. All the progress bars say "screening for preferred qualifications" which to me means "you don't qualify, kiddo, why'd you apply?" At least I'm employed this time.
Next week I have: a Skype date with my saati, a crazy doctor appointment, a flu shot (hopefully), my book club for which I am leading the discussion, and a house viewing (even more hopefully), all of which is on top of work. And I have a followup root canal next week (which I need to call my mother about). This will be a busy week.
Actually it's gonna be a busy month. Let's just go with that.
