State of the Me
1) and most important: 
shipwreck_light is here!!!!! My girlfriend is here and I have missed her SO MUCH and I'm so glad to see her again, I can't even, you guys. There won't be a lot of stuff here in the upcoming week because I will be so busy hanging out with

2) I have not paid off my medical bills as much as I thought, apparently, because I got another one from a specific company today. Turns out they a) lost my charity care discount and b) lost my check. Grrr. Fortunately the (very nice) lady I spoke to has vowed to straighten things out and I should hear from her on Tuesday with no further effort required from me.
3) And just as I've got that squared away, one of my teeth requires a root canal. UGH. 27 of the little fuckers are just fine! They're super healthy and enthusiastic! I brush and floss every day! They're very happy! But this one little bastard. Nothing to worry about, though; I have obtained a ride to and from the appointment and funds for said appointment so all is well. Just gotta get through the damn thing.
4) I have sent out several job applications! Good thoughts appreciated. With any luck I'll pick up a part-time position that pays more than this one and thus enable me to live the lifestyle to which I would like to become accustomed.
