What Are You Reading Wednesday AND Daily Happiness

Daily Happiness:

I CAN GET MARRIED IN ILLINOIS. Also, I had therapy and we talked mostly about books and history, which means I'm feeling very good. Also, I found the next book in the Lady Grace series.

What are you currently reading?

Oh, so many things. Primarily, Betrayal, which is one of the Lady Grace Cavendish mysteries by Grace Cavendish (Patricia Finney under another name, I was confused too). Curse of the Narrows, a book about the Halifax explosion. Civilization and its Discontents because Freud occasionally interests me. Plot and Structure because I'm feeling shaky on that, and writing books usually help me get writing again. As of tonight, Four Queens, a book about four sisters in medieval Europe who all became queens. Queen Bees and Wannabes by Rosalind Wiseman.

ETA: I FORGOT I'm also reading That Woman, a biography of Wallis, Duchess of Windsor, which is pretty freaking fascinating and making me feel very bad for her.

What did you recently finish reading?

InterWorld, by Neil Gaiman and someone else, which was actually kinda cool. I also finished The Unsung Hero, by Suzanne Brockmann, which was very clearly an Early Book but actually was pretty fun.

What do you think you'll read next?

Plot and Structure, a couple other books that are due Real Soon Now at the library, my Sarah Addison Allen books. Probably another few childrens' books. I like childrens' books.
