I'm still giddy.
I have a couple red hooks in me (fun fun), and i'm at amy's pad in slummaville, which is quite nice. I'm a sucker for hardwood floors. and her place has them. and a kitty. who is adorable.
Made it to Boston in record time. Independence air likes to run a tight ship, which I am totally okay with. they had tasty iced tea and good snacks.
I have also realized that I am in the Sarah Vowell vein of air traveller--I don't work on planes. I read magazines. I managed to plow through sports illustrated and the New Yorker. Both excellent this week. I so rarely get to read lots of good magazines. Though EW had Johnny Damon on the cover (!!!) and I hadn't gotten it yet.
Spent some time dinering with The Amy, which was kickass. And to her, I have this to say...
"And you call me vanilla!?!"
tomorrow it is off to le hahvahd for fun and excitement and waaaaay too many meetings. eep!
