My roommate bought me seltzer. This makes me obscenely happy. She's real cool.
In other news, had the big meeting with the Director of Graduate Studies today. he's a pretty cool guy, which makes life easier. I also ended up changing my plans, as I am no longer taking the hell-mess-death-match known as Gov 2005, which is an econ class with a little poli sci recitation every week. I'm taking it next year instead, when it will be taught fully in the Gov department. Makes more sense to me. So now I'm taking what looks to be a really cool theory class, in addition to the quantitative class and the field seminar.
It's pretty toasty here, so I'm going to cool off with a nap before dinner.
