Thesis? Done! All 40 pages (plus a couple of lines on page 41), plus two appendices and a Works Cited page.
Title? "Liturgical Fictions: A Comparative Study of Religious Fiction for Adolescent Girls, 1870-1994."
Dedication (because it makes me laugh)? "For Kate, my favorite adolescent Christian girl; For Anna, who read many of these books with me when we were younger; And for Brandi, Liz, and Melissa, who have listened to me talk about this thesis for a year."
Acknowledgements (because it seemed fitting)? "Many thanks to Professor Steve Rachman for his support and guidance, as well as the phrase "liturgical fictions"; the Michigan State University Special Collections Library for putting up with me and knowing me by name; and the East Lansing Public Library, who now own a bit more of my money due to overdue book fines."
Darn ELPL. They've probably gotten at least $10 of my money this year, just because of the thesis. Ah, well...it's over now!
And my last exam was today as well. So I can definitely graduate.
