Hi folks! *blows dust off journal...again*
I have no idea if anyone is still looking at this, but if you are, you may be interested in the sale going on over at
ysabetwordsmith's. She writes serial poetry, basically stories with a poetic rhythm and line breaks, and this week she's having a
half-price sale on her "Frankenstein's Family" universe. The premise goes like this: What if Igor decided to work for Doctor Frankenstein, not through force or fear, but because they were both looked at as outcasts in their first homes? Because Victor, though a man, was born Victoria? What if, instead of creating a "monster" they instead created a child, because neither man expected to have one the usual way? Frankenstein's Family follows them, and village above which Victor's castle sits, as they try to learn new ways of being family, and bring science, medicine, and compassionate friendship to the villagers as needed.
I enjoy all the poems I've read in it so far, and I suspect many of you will too. If you'd like to read the already-posted ones, you can find them at
