I saw this on the news today. Ugh. Fortunately he's pretty low poll-wise right now. But really, what on earth did he gain from this rapist's release?

The Christian right-wing was lobbying for the rapist's release.

I didn't know it was on the news today... good. In a way I actually hate Huckabee more than Bush for this because it was just unimaginably devious and low. Bush's incompetence doesn't seem as malicious, somehow.

That's because his PR people do an extraordinary job of making it seem that way, lol. I mean, Huckabee's even more of a scumbag than Bush, but Bush's henchmen are probably still more devious yet. *shudders at the thought*

Unless you watch Fahrenheit 9/11. I know that documentary is way over the top, but it doesn't stop me from feeling physically ill.

Actually, according to today's Rasmussen report, he's the Republican frontrunner at 20% support (in comparison to Romney's 13% and Giuliani's 17%). Kinda scary, huh?
