Noelle Spills A Lot When She's Drunk
I let Noelle drive herself to work today. I was too fucking tired to move. I slept until about half an hour ago. I am still exhausted.
I bought 30 DAYS OF NIGHT yesterday. That is one of the best graphic novels I have ever read. Now I need to the two sequels, DARK DAYS and 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: RETURN TO BARROW. I have become addicted to Steve Niles writing. He re-invents characters that have become so stale in the horror and monster genres. REMAINS is by far the best Zombie comic I have ever read. I also have become a big fan of the guy he collaborates a lot with, Ben Templesmith. The man is an amazing artist, and his book SINGULARITY 7 is one of the coolest sc-fi graphic novels around.
I contacted this chick in Denmark about illustrating the story I am writing. I found this place, Lulu.com, that lets you self publish, they get you an ISBN number (a number that lists your book in a huge listing of books in print for bookstores and such to order from), and they help you promote your work. So I have been researching my ass off, thus my ranting about all of the horror comics.
The Topic scheduled me all these 3 hour shifts rearranging the store. I feel like it is such a huge waste of my time. We just rearranged the store like two or three weeks ago. Does it really need to be done AGAIN? Not to mention, I will have 3 different levels of bosses telling me what to do, DM, Manager, Assistant. YAY!
I am too tired to think.
