My apologies, but might I ask what you mean by this holiday not exactly being fun here?

...Oh. It's-- [Huh. They didn't have a lot of experiments based solely on holidays here, did they?] Sometimes the Malnosso have had experiments based on holidays here. The ones that have been affected before are Valentine's Day and Halloween.

I had seen information about one for Valentine's Day, but not a mention of Halloween. It is not a holiday that exists in my world so I have no idea what to expect.

It's a spookier holiday, related to the souls of the dead, from what I understand. One year, a giant hedge maze surrounded the village, with giant poisonous spiders inside of it. People also end up getting stuck in random costumes, too.

That sounds like quite a strange reason to celebrate a holiday. I only hope that it won't be a female costume again. [He still isn't overly pleased about the princess bit.]

I've heard of similar holidays, but this is the only one I know of that involves spiders, bats, costumes, and ghosts. [He's just hoping that it won't be as bad as last year.]

That is quite the strange combination. [And he's making a note to try and find out more about this either via the library or a resident whose world celebrates it.] I just can't see how costumes figure into it if it should be spooky.

I guess they idea is to dress up as things related to the holiday. I got stuck dressed up like a ghost last year.
