It was the end of a simple education, and the beginning of a new complex understanding, of everything. The guidance of elders would end, and my learning would be of my own doing. There was a wide world left to discover that I had not been prepared for, a world of humans, wishing, pondering, desiring, gathering about in search of adventure. I, for one, see no event as adventure lest life be endangered. However, many futures were put at stake upon our journeys. And one valuable life was taken from us. Our fallen brother will not be forgotten, nor his will to bring the people together toward common purpose.
I hadn't a clear thought about what I might do in the continuance of my life after high school. The original plan was join the armed forces and to become a machine programmed to kill, a marine as my father was. The idea had been talked down by the father himself. The potential within me which he praised was not to be resource for a heartless killer of men. He would not have me engaged in battle that might consume my soul and inject my being with guilt. My mother's rejection of my thoughts, less honorable, thought more for my well being. Another branch of the military would provide me accommodations in exchange for mere support of the armed forces. I would not have to murder anybody, I would only have to support murderers.
A year passed of me writing, with poor skill, stories of heroes whose goal was not invasion but protection of loved ones. And the story writing ceased when I achieved employment by AMC Theaters at the Downtown Disney location. The great George Lucas was among my patrons at that location. There I met lifelong friends, who support me and who I support. These are men of art, of peace, of progress. I would not have my potential put into the service of destructive forces. Instead, I would offer my support to those who would bring an end to conflict, within and without.
My plans were terminated by the same management committee that promoted me for building a unified labor force. As long as I said, do it, the job would get doned, but my means of uniting the people were improper and unprofessional. So they despised me, and they had my people suspended from service. So I quit to end their suspension, and was left in search of another job.
That was when I found myself in the service of Muvico at the Pointe Orlando location. With best buddy at my side, I continued my writing, improving my skill, rising in levels, and bringing light to film for a wide variety of visitors. Even the great Eminem was among my patrons at that location. I even left an origami bird of my own design for little Haley on the elevator.
