I have made a bunch of Oz icons. Mostly they're of the book covers from the Del Ray editions but there are also a couple of Return to Oz icons and some random Wizard of Oz ones.

AH!!!! I love you.

Okay, that came out wrong, but ... it's so rare to encounter anyone who's even heard of the Oz books, let alone is a fan. I got my copies of the first 14 books in the late 60's, when I was still too young to even read; sadly, that edition didn't have the color inserts in them. I didn't even find out there were more books until I was a father myself.

I'm snagging several, will credit -- and thanks just for being there!

awww well thank you for the wonderful comment :) I've also found that very few people know the Oz stories but those who know them always seem to adore them.

How could they not? Needless to say, I'm planning an Oz fanfiction for some point in the future. On a related subject, do you know where there's any out there to read?

I have never found any.... ummm perhaps try www.fanfiction.net there's usually a lot of stuff on there.
