Hi Diane, and welcome to my blog!
Here are some words about the information in it...
When I started this blog, my idea was to publish the pictures and other information of a places in our planet, which was ever mentioned in the literature. The first 2 posts was about the Reichenbach's Waterfall (place of a challenge between Sherlock Holmes and prof. Moriarty) and Podgoritza (place of Nero Wolfe's birth).
Very soon I had discowered, that there are much more topics, which I would like to observe. So, now I mostly write about:
- "literature places",
- Any other places which I would like to visit,
- observation of what happened to me or what I had found in the Internet
- bicycle and all that it concerned with (scooters, skates, trikes and so)
- knots... I'm reading a Richard Hopkins's book about knots
- knifes... yes, I am a "knifemaniac" -- just a little
- travels, right now I am observing a Solar Taxi traveling around the world
- travelling equipment (camping outfit and so)
- Esperanto (even trying to write posts on it)
The information is 95% on Russian. If there is something that you do not understand, just write a comment on a particular post, and I will try to explain.
By the way, could you please invite your sons to wisit my blog? Especially the firefighting one... :) I'd really appreciate his opinion on knots and knifes. Still, you are leaving in Oregon, one of the U.S. knifemaking centers. :)
I promise you to translate my posts in English later on. Don't discourage to correct my English -- I'll appreciate that.
