I am too manic lately when I get sleepy.
I have a tag on tumblr, "lesbians unite" just because I was going to tag something "lesbian" and up came the "leeds united" tag and I thought it said "lesbians unite."* I also have a tag, "naomily fans unite" and I think those two are not mutually exclusive all the time.
*I'm writing the punctuation standard now instead of putting the comma outside of the quotation like I used to. I don't want to have bad grammar. But I don't even know where the asterisk is supposed to go. ; ;
So.
I REGISTERED TO VOTE TODAY! It didn't take long at all. It was actually really uneventful.
The woman who helped me had a very small flower tattoo on her hand. I wanted to get a tattoo on my hand a while ago and I wondered if they hurt especially, but we were busy, so I didn't feel like I should ask much. I don't know. I said I liked it and I did like it.
Week after week, I've been seeing the painted toenails of the other ladies in my yoga class. It's been too seasonably warm for my usual argyle socks, so I've been sock-less, too. So I've painted my toenails. it was less of a fiasco than I remember it being. except they kept smudging off.
They mentioned going to a ~salon, but it would be insane for me to do that. insane. they might ask about my fingernails and those can't get any polish on. my fingernails exist for playing guitar and opening things only, they're not for decoration! That seems like a feminist statement, maybe.
