As far as I know, that's the meaning of it. I think it's more specific a genre than that (Japanese or Japanese-sourced, with specific emotional themes and setups), but that doesn't seem to be relevant here.
I think that she's saying that the can't-even-use-metaphors-anymore argument is as relevant to her point as yaoi (or elephants or navel lint or ...) would be, and to go bother some other part of the Internet with it instead of interrupting her.
The place in comments where she uses it is in response to someone trying to get her to shut up, and is clearly dismissive (http://brown-betty.livejournal.com/483132.html?thread=5752892#t5752892). It has the feel of a somewhat ritualized response. I could easily see "tell me more of your thoughts on yaoi" being a fannish meme that started with a yaoi-specific example and generalized. I have not encountered it before, but fandom is vast and language is ever-changing.
