If you suspected child abuse (in your own child or another's child), would you report it to your state's version of Children and Youth Services and/or to the police?
Would it make a difference if you had physical signs (like bruising) or if you had other signs (like a child playing in a sexual way that is beyond his/her development or hearing a child screaming something like "daddy/mommy, you're hurting me! please don't hit me!")?
Would it make a difference if it was a child you knew (family or friends) or a child that was essentially a stranger (like seeing a parent severely beat their child in the middle of Target/Walmart/other department store)?
Would it make a difference if the child was really young (infant-toddler) or a bit older (12-15)?
