(no subject)

Your teenaged child (ETA: around 17), male or female, receives a phone call from one of his/her female friends. The female friend has gained permission from her parents to go on a five day camping trip with no adults with a mixed gender group of friends, the only provisoes being that no one drives the car except her, and there's between six and eight people coming along (safety in numbers).

The trip is during school holidays, so they wouldn't be missing any school, but they would be missing the local fair, which you are moderately to heavily involved in.

Would you allow your child to go along? Would you want to lay down any more rules, before you allow it?
