Based off the News

You have a teenage daughter who has been a cheerleader all through high school. She loves the sport and is very good at it. When she's sixteen, she is at a party when she's raped by two boys - including a basketball player. The basketball player pleads to simple assault and is back in school and on his team almost immediately. To complete her diploma, your daughter has to continue to go to school with the boys who raped her.

One night, he receives a free-throw during a game and the cheerleaders all get up to cheer for him. Your daughter doesn't feel that she should have to cheer for her rapist. Instead, she stays quiet and crossed her arms. When it happens a week later, she's told that she needs to cheer his name or not cheer at all. When your daughter still refuses to cheer for her rapist, she's kicked off the squad.
