You'll wear it, and you'll like it!

Is it abuse to make your child wear something you just know is going to get them teased or beaten up at school?

For instance, is it wrong to send a little boy to school in a dress because YOU want to? Say your first child was a girl and you don't feel like buying boys' clothes when you have all these gently used girls' clothes lying around your house. Or maybe you want him to feel gender-fluid. Is it wrong to tell your kid, "Gender is a social construct!" and push him out the door?
Is it also bad to make a girl wear boys' clothes?

(Inspired by years of wearing my brother's hand-me-downs and fantasizing about him getting the short end of the gender stick.)

clothing, gender roles, child abuse?
