time will tell to my love

time will tell to my love.
sungyeol's mother always told him that he's something special, and sungyeol likes to believe that because it's partly true anyways.
.
sungyeol first stopped time when he was six. there were sand around his fingers and mud all over his shorts as he chased after sungjong, the prettiest girl (boy, sungyeol later found out and wanted to strangle himself) in the neighborhood.
he wanted to give her (him?) a hug but sungjong stuck her (his?) tongue at him and ran away.
"stop!" sungyeol wailed after sungjong sadly, and sungjong stopped.
by the time sungyeol caught up with the pretty boy he bolted and gave him a big hug. sungjong turned around and pushed him away with a disgusted lok, "ew, go away."
.
it wasn't until sungyeol was thirteen when he realized that something about him was different. maybe it was the way how he only thought about boys when all of his friends are trying to look under a girl's skirt, or maybe it was just the fact that he can stop time.
.
sungyeol met myungsoo when he was fifteen, just a boy who's a little dumb and out looking for someone to love like his first new toy from a christmas morning.
he liked the way myungsoo would smile at him and those deep deep eyes would crinkle, and he liked it when myungsoo would lean against him, too close, but he also liked it when myungsoo breathe against the back of his neck anyways so it's okay.
they love each other, just like how first love were supposed to be, and sungyeol thinks everything is bright and rainbows.
.
sungyeol tried telling myungsoo about his little secret.
he tried many times, but everytime myungsoo would just smile and brushed it off with a small kiss here and there, always around the corners of his mouth and sungyeol would always melt into the kiss, because it's myungsoo, and everything else can wait when it comes to myungsoo.
.
sungyeol noticed little things, odd little things that doesn't really stand out in his life but there's still that something, that bothered sungyeol somewhere in the back of his mind when he's not staring at the back of myungsoo's head.
it started with simple things like teachers forgetting his name, or his classmate forgetting his person, and then some of his relatives started to get a little aloofed and also his friends, (sungyeol remembered how woohyun looked at him weirdly one day and asked why is he sitting with them in the same table).
it's little things like that, that bothered sungyeol, but it's all right because myungsoo always entwined his fingers with sungyeol's and that's just enough.
for now.
.
it gets to the point where sungyeol's own brother began to give sungyeol weird looks when sungyeol goes back home.
.
sungyeol doesn't realize how serious the situation is until one day when he comes back home and finds three pair of confused eyes staring right back at him, and sungyeol thinks he might be going crazy because he's hearing things because his mother just asked, "who are you?"
.
something shattered a little and sungyeol wondered if it's just the bottle his holding onto or maybe it's something deeper inside.
sungyeol looked through the glass window and there's one less chair around the table. he looked back down at his watch and waited for the damn watch to move, to just fucking move a little.
sometimes, it's better to have nothing at all then to have something that destorys.
.
the first thing sungyeol does is to call myungsoo.
and myungsoo doesn't pick up the stupid phone.
and so sungyeol starts running to myungsoo's house.
he knocked on the door, waiting for his heart to calm down because myungsoo's here. myungsoo's here and everything will be alright because myungsoo's-
"i'm sorry, do i know you?" myungsoo looked at him with those deep deep brown eyes, and sungyeol wanted to scream.
.
it takes him a month to get used to living alone. it's not that hard anyways because people don't really bother him when he's walking on the streets, four in the morning or two in the afternoon.
no one bothered him anymore.
(because they don't fucking see him anymore.)
.
he learned that myungsoo is getting married a few weeks later. apparently he met this beautiful girl and they all think this is just destiny and meant to be.
sungyeol thinks it's funny because destiny told him the exact same thing when he first met myungsoo.
he came to myungsoo's wedding anways (uninvited, sungyeol wanted to laugh at that). he stayed in the far far corner where he's sure no one will be able to see him (though he's pretty sure no one will even if he stood right in front of the priest and make funny faces).
sungyeol closed his eyes and he felt his throat blocked by the air around him. he can see the colors slipping from the tips of his fingers so sungyeol tightened his fist until his knuckles turned white.
sungyeol looked at myungsoo and he brushed his lips against myungsoo's, soft and barely touching, just the way myungsoo likes it when they kiss in the early morning or the lazy afternoon.
myungsoo leaned forward and captured her lips instead, and sungyeol doesn't remember how to breathe anymore.
.
("myungsoo, will you still love lee sungyeol even if lee sungyeol isn't around anymore?"
"what kind of question is that, dumbass?
kim myungsoo will love lee sungyeol forever and ever no matter what."
"pinky swear?"
"pinky swear, pabo.")
author's note:
everytime sungyeol stops time his existence disappeared a little, people will forget about him and eventually people cannot even see him anymore, that's probably pretty confusing because this is really badly written because i found this from a long time ago and tried to finish it but i suck now and idk.
i need to stop trying and just write whatever the shit i want, this writeblock is pissing me off :(
