Okay, so, someone who went out with Speed Racer is hooking up with him again after an involuntary absence, and the person they were BFF with while Speed Racer was unavailable thought they were more than just friends and is bitterly lamenting the lost opportunity to make the relationship something more. *nods* Cool!

Wow, that was actually an episode? Heh. I've never watched Speed Racer, we never got it on our three channels when I was a kid.

OK, so my sarcasm loses something in the internet translation. I don't think that was an episode. And if you're kidding, too? Then I'm a dumbass. Sorry.

Speed Racer was my first TV boyfriend. I've moved on now to bigger and hotter. And human. I'm looking at you, Dean Winchester.....

Naw, I wasn't being sarcastic. I have a very broad mind when it comes to possible plotlines, and since Speed Racer was, unless I'm mistaken, proto-anime, I would not have been surprised if they'd gotten a few character-driven unrequited romance and angst triangles thrown into the mix. :-)
