no one's gonna save you from the beast about to strike. you know it's thriller~
Ok, at times when I am awake at around 4-5am, I hear what sounds like a cat getting beaten up/molested/killed. Now this is a fucking freaky sound that seems to come from next door. And I am not aware that my neighbours own a cat. And even if they did, it should have died about 6 times by now.
The first time I heard the sound, I thought the cat had noticed some burglars or something and that they tried to quiet it down (by beating it up). Burglaries (or at least attempted ones) occur quite often around here so I didn't think much of it.
Here is sum facts?:
1) This bloody scary and dreadfully painful screeching only EVER occurs when I am the only one who'll hear it.
2) This also only ever happens during the 4-5am time period.
3) Tonight is the first time I've heard the cat sound since reading that short story Neil Gaiman wrote about a guardian cat protecting a family from the devil. ...It's scary. >:
4) The stupid cat was really loud tonight and it actually sounded like he/she died._.

edit: fuck i just went outside for a cigarette and perched on top of our (new) neighbours' shed is this freaky looking black and white cat that was STARING RIGHT AT ME and didn't STOP staring for the entire time i was outside. btw it looked fine (as in no furry attack/killing going on). it scared the living bejesus out of me
